Alright, I have been having this issue since I upgraded my PC and I've not been able to find anyone else with the same issue.

Basically what is happening, is when power is removed from the system (I unplug it from the wall and then plugged back in) the motherboard no longer has any lights lit on it. Under normal circumstances, I see LEDs on the motherboard has LEDs on at all time while it is booted.

In order to get the lights back on, I need to remove power multiple times and mess around until they finally come back on. Once they are on, the power button will not work at first. I need to wait 10 or so minutes and after a while, I can press the power button and it will come on.

These symptoms don't make a whole lot of sense to me, so I was wondering if anyone else might be able to shed light on it. I was thinking it might actually be the power supply instead of the board itself, however, the power supply was working fine before the upgrade.

The BIOS version is 2.30, and other information about my setup will be listed below.

CPU: R9 3950x
RAM: GSkill Ripjaws DDR4 3600 (In DIMMS DDR4_A2 and DDR4_B2)
NVME: Samsung Evo 970 1TB
HDD: Western Digitial Blue
GPU: GTX 970

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If there is any more information that I can provide let me know.

try another PSU .. update BIOS to 3.00 when you get your power issues sorted out.. make sure the power connectors are snapped all the way into motherboard and gpu.

Thank you! I have one on order. I was planning on upgrading it anyway since I also plan on upgrading to an RTX 3080 relatively soon. I will let you know when it comes in, whether or not it resolved it issue in case someone else runs into this issue.
