Hi,
I am having issues getting my mobo to recognize my graphics card. I have: ASRock Z490M-ITX/ac Link HP Quadro P2200 Graphics card Link My mobo is on BIOS 1.30 (It came with the latest version) I made sure that the PCIe is set as the primary video card in the BIOS. I've also verified that the P2200's fan is spinning, meaning that the card is getting power. However, when I plug in the P2200 to the monitor, there is no signal. I only get video when using the onboard HDMI. I am running Ubuntu Server 20.04 and was trying to install the latest NVidia Unix Drivers for the P2200, but it says no NVidia card was found on my system. I don't believe it's a Unix issue because I get no video signal at all from the P2200 card when booting the machine. Any help or insight is greatly appreciated! See below for Unix Nvidia Driver install output: sysadmin@gp-asrock:~$ sudo ./NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-450.80.02.run [sudo] password for sysadmin: Verifying archive integrity... WARNING: You do not appear to have an NVIDIA GPU supported by the 450.80.02 NVIDIA Linux graphics driver installed in this system. Additional Info:
I have Secure Boot disabled in the BIOS. I also tried the official HP Nvidia driver version from the following page, with the same error not recognizing the P2200 card. https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=MTX-c49358394eda4e3abc23d6a4e0#tab3 I am only running Ubuntu Server 20.04 LTS, not dual-booting with Windows. Under Chipset configuration, the ME Firmware Version is 14.0.36.1158. Just an FYI. I couldn't find a page where these firmware releases are, so I assume they are bundled with the BIOS update packages, as per Release notes in the BIOS updates. |

Ran hwinfo in Unix and it returns the following:

Update:
I installed Windows 10 Home and tried installing the NVidia Graphics Driver 452.57. It errored on the system check saying it could not find the card as well. I'm now more inclined to believe it's a hardware issue, either with the mobo or graphics card. I now have Ubuntu Server and Windows installed, so I can troubleshoot in either OS if needed. |

[SOLVED]
I decided to try removing/replacing the Quadro card to see if that would work. When I took out the Quadro card, there was a small piece of black tape attached to the connector. D'OH!!! After removing that and replacing it, the card was recognized! |
