Ryzen 5950x (BG 2044SUS), B550 Taichi bios 1.70, tried 1.52, RAM: F4-3200C16Q-128GVK (128gb), cooler noctua d15.
latest windows 10 and chipset drivers

I have random reboots/bsod (whea) at idle when computer not using with stock (factory default in bios). helps to solve the problem disable global c-state in bios.
18, WHEA-Logger
Reported by component: Processor Core
Error Source: Machine Check Exception
Error Type: Bus/Interconnect Error
Processor APIC ID: 31

Reported by component: Processor Core
Error Source: Machine Check Exception
Error Type: Cache Hierarchy Error
Processor APIC ID: 4

but i have also bsod's when windows loading with error PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA and every time caused by adress ntoskrnl.exe+3f5780 maybe 2 times in a row. Helps to solve the problem disable core performance boost in bios.
to reproduce fastly load windows then reboot windows with holding shift and select boot in safe mode and then reboot again and so 2-5 times repeat until bsod occurs

upload dumps with full memory.dmp (PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA) - Download

prime95, OCCT pass without errors/bsods

what is it ?, a problem in the BIOS or a defective processor?.

many others users with the same problems:

more tests, flashed bios 1.30 (agesa 1.0.8.0)
load optimzed default setting - bsod at starting windows
PBO on - bsod at starting windows
PBO off - bsod at starting windows
PBO - advanced- pbo limits "motherboard" - boot normal without bsod

check limits in ryzen maste:
PBO on - 1000-160-190
PBO off - 142-95-140 same limits as default (auto)
PBO - advanced- pbo limits "motherboard" - 1000-600-630

so, what, my CPU defective?

ok, i recived new cpu on local store, because OEM, same batch as previosly (bg 2044sus). Unfortunately this cpu even worse than previously (all setting stock). Bsod (whea uncorrectable error) and hard reboot without bsod at idle. I can reproduce 100% using tool boost tester, every time got bsod and hard reboot at 12 core. I can pass boost tester with LLC1 (LLC2 bsod) and curve optimizer on 12 core +2 (+1 bsod). I Order new CPU in other store. So i think it's defective batch =(
I Can't test with newest bios because on my board B550 Taichi only have bios 1.70 with agesa 1.1.0.0 patch D

Running 128GB on a mid range desktop motherboard without ECC is suicide.
It will never work. You are lucky if you manage to run 64GB at those speeds, actually it would be a miracle.
All you can expect from that ram is 32GB, if even that. CPU has nothing to do with it, that is Asrock fault for false advertisement. Your motherboard is also not faulty.
Keep in mind all motherboard manufacturers false advertise 128GB support, not just Asrock. They just took theoretical paper specs of the CPU architecture and added it to their motherboard specs.
If you look at their Memory qualification list, max they qualified is 32GB. Yours is 4x32GB, which means in order for you to even hope to get that RAM running you would have to run single RAM stick. You could try 2x32GB at low clocks, but I'm very doubtful. 1 stick or RAM means your CPU will run in Single channel mode, which will slow down your CPU a lot where it makes no sense to have that kind of CPU at all.

If you don't need 128GB of memory, return it to the shop, buy something up to 32GB.
If you need 128GB of memory, return motherboard and CPU, and get yourself Threadripper platform, which does support 128GB of memory

it's faulty cpu, not memory. All tests at factory defaults (all auto, not oc or xmp). memory pass all test (karhu, tm5, memtest86+) at default freq 2666, xmp 3200 and OC 3533Mhz, memory errors only at 3600 and above.
and about qvl list, my board support 4x32 kits:
CMW128GX4M4E3200C16
CMK128GX4M4C3200C16
CMW128GX4M4D3000C16
HX432C16FB3K4/128
BL32G36C16U4B
BL32G32C16U4B
F4-3200C16Q2-256GVK (haha 256gb kit, but i have only 4 slots)
and by the way, the same kit of memory worked without problems on the previous motherboard x370 taichi with ryzen 2600, 2700x, 3950x

Bad Quality control from side AMD

x370 taichi is high end board. The way they are QVLing those memory sticks is another discussion, but it is not what you think it is.

WHEA errors are from BIOS, there is new version coming soon (some Asrock motherboards already received them), you might hold off for a bit.
Faulty CPUs is very rare occurrence, and getting 2 faulty CPUs one after another is near impossibility.

B550 Taichi high end too and no chipset fan :), price 300$
Whea errors are often related to memory in overclocking above 3600-4000
I have no overclocking, the computer is not stable at the factory settings
just read this topics:

https://www.igorslab.de/community/threads/ryzen-9-5950x-crash-mit-prozessor-apic-id14-whea-logger-18.3596/ - one guy replaced cpu 2 times and only 3 cpu finally full stable

So if WHEA errors are due to CPUs, then 90% of AMD 5000 series CPUs are unstable.

$300 in today's world is cheap for the motherboard. Manufacturers went bonkers recently with the prices :(
New Agesa containing BIOS is supposed to fix WHEA errors. I only got WHEA error once on my system, and only updated to latest BIOS 2 days ago, so still observing

Received 3rd ryzen 5950x CPU, AGAIN BG 2044SUS, he is much better.

*pass boost tester without bsod or reboot.
*linx with one thread 100 runs with 5k size.
*Pass blender bench
*pass geekbench
*pass linx 20 runs with 40k size
*Realbench 5 runs
*pass 20 runs x264 Stability Test
*pass prime95, 5 hours, with custom settings: min fft 4k max fft 400k
*pass OCCT small data set, large data set 1 hour each
*pass y-cruncher all 9 tests, 10 min each
