Hello everyone, i have a problem with my motherboard and i don't know where else i would ask for help but here, so if there is any kind soul that might help me out, i would be really grateful.
I'll start from the begining. So yesterday i bought a new PSU, 700w gold (i had 700w rgb psu, that was much cheaper then this one, so im guessing it wasn't silver or gold) I bought it for the sole purpose of getting rid of a signle problem that i had with my desktop. I own a oculus rift headset, and my computer would start 'freaking' out when i plugged it in, as in, my usb devices would disconnect and connect in a matter of seconds, my wifi adapter would shut my internet down etc etc. so i tought in my head that my PSU was not good enough, and since i had alot of stuff plugged into my pc, i thought it was draining too much power or something and that that was the main problem. So i configure the new PSU but the problem was still there. I've researched my problem a bit more and after everything else i've tried, most of the people said i should update my bios/mobo. I followed the instructions on how to instal bios updates via Instant Flash option. i've downloaded most of the updates, put them on a formated usb and started instaling away, i've instaled one update, then the second, then the third. i've got a message to press enter to let the pc reboot. after i've hit enter the computer started but there was no signal coming from the monitor, nor were my keyboar/mouse working (no lights) the gpu and cpu fan both work fine, and i don't get any beeps from mobo so i don't know what i did wrong. now im in the middle of reseting cmos / bios by following http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=630&title=how-to-clear-cmos-via-battery-removal guide but as im waiting (since 20 minute didnt give any result) i'm on my friends computer writing this as a cry for help... i think i know what might have caused the problemn, but still im not sure how to slove it. https://ibb.co/ZxB51K1 as you can see in the picture, i've realized i instaled the bios in the wrong order, i instaled the 3. update first, instead of maybe instaling the first two versions where i've but x im note sure what to do if the cmos jumper reset thing won't work, if you have any suggestions i'll be more then glad to try them |
