Hello Everyone,
I have a new H110 with: Tiny Linux (NiceHash OS) I5 processor 8gb ddr4 RAM 1000 watt power supply Boot from thumb drive. 5x AMD RX 580 gpu's I added the first gpu. No problem. Second founding. No problem. Third gpu. .... Fails to boot. Freezes on Asrock splash screen during POST. Thought I might have a bad gpu. I picked up two more and tried again. Boot fine with any combination of two gpus but adding a third would fail. Thought it must be a power issue. Is the third card too much for my power supply? So I moved three risers to a separate power supply and tried again. I now have two gpus on the main supply and three on the second supply (no commingling over 12v) Every combination of cards, gpus and power supplies leaves me with the same state of failure. I also followed the instructions I found for the folks having a similar problem with 9-10 gpus. It didn't help... Suggestions?? Thanks S. |

Anyone have any thoughts?
I am starting to think that the Asrock H110 may not have been a good choice for this application. |

Have the same issue, same MB, only it's when adding a second GPU. I've got 5 GPUs between 2 different vendors, all work, individually. Tried tweaking BIOS settings, to no avail. As soon as I add the second GPU, it locks up at the boot screen. Came across a thread stating if you have a PCIe HD (which I do) that could be related to this issue, however still investigating as it will be a few days before I can get hands on an m.2.

I figured it out after doing some research, watching some youtube videos, etc... ensure you've got 2 x molex are plugged into the motherboard. On at the top of the PCIe bank and the other at the bottom.
