Use the Instant Flash means and file. Do NOT flash any motherboard BIOS from or within Windows.

If you need assistance with using Instant Flash post back prior to performing the flash stating so and I or someone else will guide you.

Err, Update to 2.30 FIRST and leave the USB stick in the computer. After the reboot from flashing I believe you should see another flash procedure take place, the microcode part, which will again req the USB stick still in place.

is this right? im going to do 1.70 to 2.30 then 2.30 to 2.60 and 2.60 to 2.70.
The part that i get bricked is in BIOS GUI Instant Flash. it was 1.70 to 2.60 that i jump bios version.
