Hello. I have a new N3150, and set it running Linux. It runs just fine- I can remote control it via SSH, everything is OK.
But, I want to run it headless. When I boot the Beebox without a screen connected, it seems that the boot procedure is stuck ,as I cannot connect to it via SSH. I tried to put a couple of sdmi adapters on and boot, but no luck- it boots properly only when a real screen is attached to it. Any idea to solve the problem? My solution:
I booted the kernel with KMS disabled ( nomodeset argument in the grub2 commandline options ) and it went fine. There is probably another solution, like using a dummy HDMI plug, but this one worked for me. It may help others with the same issue. Edited by panfren - 22 Jan 2016 at 7:59pm |
