Hello, I've been using the Asrock B550 Gaming ITX mobo for about 2 months now. All USB ports in the back used to work, but all of a sudden the 4x USB 3.2 Gen1 Ports on the back stop working correctly yesterday. By that, I mean my wired or wireless mouse and keyboard doesn't work, any USB cable for Xbox controller stop working, my USB IR sensor for my PC remote stop working. What works in those 4 ports are external USB HDD, flash drives, and charging cables (for mouse, keyboard, game controllers...but only for charging, not powering them to work in wired mode).
My other USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A Port (10 Gb/s) rear port works for everything. Same for my front USB ports. I thought something screw up in my Windows 10 installation, so I reformatted my whole PC, but those 4 ports still have this problem. Does anyone has any solution or do I have to RMA the board? |

SOLVED! I shutdown the PC and unplugged the power supply cable for 5min. Then replug and turn PC back on and no more USB problems!
Thanks @SkyForce6 from this post (http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=15168&KW=usb+port+not+working&title=b450-pro4-usb-31-gen-2-port-not-working ) for the amazing and easy solution. |
