Hello, I got an Intel i9-9900k and Samsung 970 Evo SSD for a system build that for various reasons was never built and sat for a long time. Finally got around recently to picking up the best ITX motherboard I could still find online and got a "like new" Z390 Phantom Gaming ITX/AC off Amazon last month. Yes, I know this is all older-gen stuff, but the CPU, SSD, and RAM were still new in box.
Did a fresh install of Win 10 and noticed immediately that the Intel AC 9560 wifi and Bluetooth were not showing up in the device manager even with show hidden. Tried a BIOS update. Checked if the Onboard WAN was enabled in BIOS Reset BIOS to factory default Installed latest Intel 9560 drivers When none of that worked I ended up ordering and installing a new Intel 9560 AC M2 card just in case the previous one had failed. Still no wifi or BT showing up in device manager Not sure what else to try but I really need the onboard wifi to work |

Dear Cgwynne,
Thank you for posting your query. Regarding your question, if nothing on the motherboard has changed, downloading the WiFi and Bluetooth driver from the product link should allow the WiFi and Bluetooth to work.(Please make sure to install Antennas on the system) Z390 Phantom Gaming ITX/ac https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z390%20Phantom%20Gaming-ITXac/index.asp#Download Z390M-ITX/ac https://www.asrock.com/MB/Intel/Z390M-ITXac/index.asp#Specification For any further questions, kindly contact the Technical support for further assistance. https://event.asrock.com/tsd.asp£ln=en With thanks, ASRock TSD Edited by ASRock_TSD - 10 Mar 2021 at 9:48am |

This is for the Z390 Phantom Gaming ITX/ac
I mentioned that I did install the correct drivers and when that didn't work I installed a new PCIe WiFi module too. The antennas are connected but it should not be the reason the hardware doesn't show up in the Device Manager. I have also updated BIOS to latest and checked BIOS setting for onboard WAN enabled. What else can I check |
