Hey there,
I have the same problem as below but with BIOS 6.60 (latest update) I bought a new Samsung 980 500gb SSD but the BIOS doesn't detect it. I've tried to reinstall the Hardware but still not working. Any suggestion? |

I am trying to use the Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB as my only hard drive and install windows on it.
It is not recognized in storage configuration nor is it recognized by the windows 10 installer. It is not shown on the main page of the UEFI bios. 1. It is in the Ultra M2 2_1 slot. 2. BIOS version is 4.70 (the latest to mention m2 support) 3. I have followed the link below, when I attempt to boot from the UEFI: <Installation Media> I get a black screen. http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp£TID=1236&title=how-to-install-windows-on-a-pcie-ssd Any help is much appreciated£ |
