Dear all knowing support,

now that 11.Gen CPUs are available and BIOS version 2.1 declares support for 11.Gen, unfortunately we customers cannot see from the outside on the H470 package what BIOS version it was flashed with£ But there is a manufacturing date on the box - maybe there is information available on which DeskMini H470 manufactured after a certain date are 11.Gen CPU compatible - shipped with proper BIOS version£

While the DeskMini H470 Infopage still states "HDMI (4K@30Hz)" - does a H470 with 11.Gen CPU finally support HDMI 4K@60Hz£

As feedback for your designers: I think the power button on the H470/X300 is not an improvement. It may be "prettier" than the 110/310 design, but every day when powering on my H470 I get a little bit angry about the imprecise feel/function of it. Please, improve this in the next revision...

Thank you - and happily awaiting my H470 and 11.Gen CPU :-)

@aforumuser; I'm having the same question as you have. It is strange and even a bit disturbing and annoying that no one from Asrock is willing or capable to answer this simple question.

This doesn't give me any trust in their support...

I'm online now and I see that user ASROCK_TSD is also online. Why doesn't he or she respond?

Dear Forum Users,

A forum is a place where users are able to ask and discuss questions.

ASRock Support might not be able to answer all of the questions.

For urgent questions or unanswered questions, please refer to the following link and fill out the technical form to get further assistance from the technicians.
https://event.asrock.com/tsd.asp

With thanks,
ASRock TSD

@ASRock_TSD; if you have read the question asked in the first post you should have known that this is not a 'technical' question. So filling out a form that is rather unusable for this question.

Example: how is it even possible to fill out questions about the product information (obliged!) if you do not have them. This ofcourse why there is the question in the first post!

My opinion? You do not read at all but simply refer to a form that has to be filled out...

Oh, and the '_TSD' of your forumname, doesn't this refer to 'Technical Service Department'?

Half a year later I'm still wondering:

>While the DeskMini H470 Infopage still states "HDMI (4K@30Hz)" - does a H470 with 11.Gen CPU finally support HDMI 4K@60Hz£

Can anyone confirm/deny that a 11.Gen CPU still only supports 4K@30Hz or does HDMI work at 60Hz?

Thank you...

If no one here has answered for that long then no one on the forum knows the answer.
Sorry but it happens sometimes. Your best bet is to open a ticket with ASRock:

https://event.asrock.com/tsd.asp

They should have the technical specs and details you need and if not, may be willing
to test things in their support lab. Good luck and please let us know if they
get back to you.
