x570 Phantom Gaming X + Adaptec 71605 issue

   I put together a new build and for whatever reason I cannot seem to get my RAID controller to work properly with this motherboard. If I try to go into the RAID BIOS during boot (Ctrl-A), it hangs. If I try accessing it from within the UEFI BIOS, it hangs. I can access it from the web interface in Windows 10 and can setup arrays there.

HOWEVER, the real problem is that RAID 5 arrays do not work properly. My read speeds are typically around 40-50MB/sec and writes are less than 20MB/sec. I have also had intermittent hangs and hard freezes with my screen going black when writing to the array while also reading from it. With my old Intel 4770K based system everything worked great and I enjoyed 450+ MB/sec read and write speeds on the 4x 6TB HGST RAID 5 array.  Running the HGST 6TB drives in JBOD mode gets me over 125+ MB/sec reads/writes on each. Also, RAID 0 on the 71605 with my 6x 2TB SSDs seems to work but at about 1/2 the speed I was getting on my old intel system. Is there anyway to get this RAID controller working correctly with this motherboard£

	P.S. The BIOS is running version 3.40. I have held off on updating it due to the latest version using AGESA 1.2.0.0 apparently having a USB bug. If upgrading the BIOS will resolve this issue, I am willing to try it however.
