Hi,
I refer to Asrock B550M Steel Legend board where there's heatsink on the M.2 slot but the same heatsink extends I guess on to the chipset as well. I suppose that's how it is. See the below photo. The M.2 SSD that I am about to buy also has its own heatsink on it. How can such M.2 SSD be fitted here? Is it advisable to remove the motherboard's M.2 heatsink that I believe also covers chipset area, and only use SSD with heatsink? I doubt if I can remove heatsink from the SSD. Thanks. |

allthough you can remove ssd heatsinks on 'some' |
