Thanks for the reply.
It's a wired keyboard. Logitech G810 (four years old) and Logitech G910 (brand new) Both do the same thing. Random, maybe after 15 or 30 min, maybe an hour. Unplugging and replugging does not reinitialize the port, nor does changing the port. Wireless USB and BT devices continue to work. (I think) Logitech Mouse (old) Logitech Headset (new) Unknown BT Ear Buds (new) |

New/Old topic not answered in old post
ASRock AB350M Pro4 (not R2.0) Logitech G810 Orion AND brand new Logitech G910 Spectrum (keyboards) RYZEN 5 1600X After updating BIOS from 3.0 to 5.1 in an attempt to get the USB 3.0 working on a Sabrent USB3 external case with a Samsung 450GB 970 EVO SSD, it was discovered that the brand new USB 3 dongle cable was defective and only running at USB 2.0 speeds. (Sabrent tested good with new cable on different system) Still at BIOS 5.10 Updated memory and tested Geil Orion 32GB (2x16) ran at 2166 and now at 3000 without problems. At seemingly random intervals, the 4 year old Logitech G810 began to glitch and stop working. There were no problems prior to updating to BIOS 5.10 The case was just cleaned, new fans (Noctua) and all parts/cables reseated except CPU. Keyboard has been plugged into the "keyboard" USB 2.0 port above the PS2 connector, it is now plugged into one down by the RJ-45 port. Still locking up. Windows is current version and completely up to date. I have 3 BIOS updates remaining: 5.5 / 5.8 / 5.9 Is there any chance that one of those is going to help with this USB Issue? Or has the pooch been...you know. |
