To install Windows11 (clean install - boot from flash drive) I used this procedure: https://www.thewindowsclub.com/why-do-you-need-tpm-for-windows-11 |

Microsoft updated their Windows 11 system requirements again a few days ago to allow a few handful of 7th gen Intel processors to support Windows 11:
https://blogs.windows.com/windows-insider/2021/08/27/update-on-windows-11-minimum-system-requirements-and-the-pc-health-check-app/ the TPM 2.0 requirements remain unchanged |

Same here, I have a C246 WSI mainboard with a TPM header. The support page of Asrock Rack for this mainboard is showing that the TPM2-SLI is compatible... https://www.asrockrack.com/general/productdetail.asp?Model=C246%20WSI#TPM but impossible to buy it! No way to find resellers in Europe with this chip on stock. Is Asrock going to put this TPM2-SLI on the market? regards, |

Hi all,
I have a H110M-HDV R3.0 motherboard and, according to the BIOS settings, a TPM2 device is found, secure boot is enabled and Intel Platform Trust Technology is enabled too. Despite all, Windows 10 does not detect the TPM (it's shown with a yellow warning in the device manager) and no secure boot is detected as well. I know my cpu Intel I7-7700 is not supported by Windows 11 (sigh!) but I'm wondering why the other 2 requirements are not met (TPM and secure boot). Thanks in advance. |

I have pretty much the same issue as Angelo75 above, although I've forced the Windows 11 upgrade. So, I'm running Windows 11 and having the issue with TPM and Secure Boot requirements not being met. I have the ASRock Fatal1ty Z170 Professional Gaming i7 MB with an Intel i7 6700k. In the BIOS, Secure Boot and Intel Platform Trust Tech. are enabled. In Device Manager under Security Devices, the TPMN 2.0 has the yellow exclamation mark. Its driver is from 2006. No luck locating a newer driver, if that's what it needs. I know the CPU isn't supported, but I'd love to clear these issues with TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot. Anyone???

Did a little more digging since my previous post above. Do I actually need to purchase the little TPM 2.0 module and plug it into the MB? I see the pins for it on the MB, but I guess I just assumed based on other posts that the Z170 I have already supported TPM 2.0 (especially because the option is there in the BIOS).

no you do not need to Microsoft have skipped the tmp and secure boot requirement as there are a lot of companies wanting to update there systems to windows 11, you can download windows 11 and set up a usb with rufus it will give you an option to skip the CPU and tmp requirements, im running windows 11 on a 6600k and a Asrock Z170 oc formula. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ovgWN6YD2ws&t=37s
