Dear rakun9,
Thank you for the posting.

The M.2_1 only impact the PCIe_4, the other PCIe slot will remain as the spec mentioned.

Thank you,

Best wishes,

Information from manual:
AMD Ryzen series CPUs (Summit Ridge and Pinnacle Ridge)
??2 x PCI Express 3.0 x16 Slots (PCIE2: x16 mode; PCIE4: x4 mode)*

AMD Ryzen series CPUs (Raven Ridge)
??2 x PCI Express 3.0 x16 Slots (PCIE2: x8 mode; PCIE4: x4 mode)*

* Supports NVMe SSD as boot disks
* If M2_1 is occupied, PCIE4 will be disabled.
??4 x PCI Express 2.0 x1 Slots
??Supports AMD Quad CrossFireXTM and CrossFireXTM**
** This feature is only supported with Ryzen Series CPUs (Summit Ridge, Pinnacle Ridge and Raven Ridge).

Question if slot M2_1 is occupied, all pci express become pcie2?

is Seagate Barracuda Q5 SSD 500GB Hardisk Internal [ZP500CV30001] can be use in slot M2_1?

Thanks you
