I just purchased a z590 extreme motherboard and an i7 10700K. I am having an issue where my existing m.2 drive is not letting me boot from it.
I can see all my drives in the Bios however I cannot select any of them to boot from. When I put in my old motherboard it boots fine. Can someone please let me know what I need to do? Do I need to install a new windows image to be recognised? |

Hi TrenHexx,
Thank you for your post. Please try to enable the CSM mode under BIOS\Boot\CSM. Your OS on your old drive might be installed in MBR mode. We expected your OS will show up after enabled CSM. If your system doesn't install the external GPU, please backup your DATA and reinstall the OS at GPT mode. All the best ASRock TSD |
