ASRock X570 Pro4 chipset fan stutter and noise

   Hi all,

Is there anything I can do to try to fix my chipset fan without getting a replacement?

The chipset fan on my ASROck X570 Pro4 motherboard appears to be stalling and making a "grinding" noise. If I open up my case while it's running I can see the fan blades repeatedly spin up and then stutter.

I thought it might be the dust but cleaning the fan did not improve anything.

Changing the fan speeds in the UEFI Bios did not have any effect on the stuttering behavior.

I would like to avoid going through a replacement because I need my PC to work from home and swapping motherboards always causes headaches with Microsoft and Windows.

I can provide a video of the issue if necessary.
