That is in line with standard temps for X570. I was a little uncomfortable seeing
temps north of 70c on my X570 Taichi and X570 Pro4 but after looking at a ton of reviews and talking to ASRock about it I discovered it was normal for the platform. Apparently it has to do with PCIe 4.0 and it's requirements. I did note that manually setting PCIe gen to 3.0 lowered temps somewhat. Regardless, the x570 southbridge is rated for 95c constant load so you are absolutely fine. |

My average SB temps while idle is 58 C - 64 C.
Under load, it can stagnate at 71 C. Is this normal? Is my unit defective? I think it could have something to do with the fact that my GPU is right in front of the little vent for the SB fan, but my GPU is that long. Please get back to me on this. |
