    Posted: 20 Oct 2021 at 8:32am
Currently have a Z370 Taichi with a i7-8700K running windows 10. Have a TPM 2.0 installed, and had all my drives bitlocked.   But wanted to get my machine ready for windows 11. Ended up de-bitlocking my drives to more easily tweak/change the bios config changes without bitlocker getting mad everytime. I need to get secure boot working according to pc health check. Which I believe I need to disable CSM? But I don't have a CSM option under the bios security tab.   I believe I need to convert to GPT also.

As a side note, I can't reenable bitlocker now. Not sure what I fubared but guess I will keep moving forward with efforts to get my pc windows 11 compliant.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Dotnetrob,

Thank you for your post.

To install/update Windows 11, your system must meet the below requirements.

1. TPM2.0
2. Secure boot (UEFI mode)
3. CSM disabled

If the PC health check shows your system cannot support secure boot, it indicates your system is installed at MBR mode, please refer to the link to make your system ready for Windows 11

TPM: https://www.asrock.com/support/faq.asp?id=500
Secure boot: https://www.asrock.com/support/faq.asp?id=504
CSM: The option is under BIOS\Boot\CSM, please set it to disabled.

All the best
