fm2a75m-dgs no video after cpu disconnected

Hi folks,

after a power supply faillure which I not reconized al first glans,I thouht the motherboard died on me.
so I removed the cpu ( just being curious ) and put it back in place.
after renewing the powersupply the darn thing came back to life ! all fans and drives spin but there's
no video !!
it also seems that the booting process is not compleet since none of the usb devices ( like mouse )
light up...I am totally in the dark here can someone help please ??

Remove the CPU again and check for bent pins. If there are none then carefully reinstall the CPU and thermal paste then clear CMOS and try again.

your suggestion led to the solution !! this is what happened :
when I reinstalled the cpu,I overlooked the lever on the socket and pushed
the cpu/heatsink assembly back on its socket without first lifting the lever..(which I did not see)
I discoverd directly that the cpu whas loose but figured that this was normal.
so now I first removed the heatsink from the cpu,installed the cpu and locked the lever,and then
installed the heatsink on top of the cpu....tadaa system up and running again..!!
