Hello,
The BIOS version and storage drivers, have nothing in common. Regarding the drivers for open source, we don't write the drivers, we get them from the manufacturers, when we buy the product, and I don't kow if Intel has any open source drivers. Installing Windows 10 or 11 is a piece of cake, so your question is a bit puzzling, you say, you don't install Windows 10 or 11, You are able to install Unraid, but it is a lot of work, to install Windows. To be honest, the support for Open Source, is usually handled via the OS forums You can try to use the supprot form https://event.asrock.com/tsd.asp?ln=en When using a gmail account, please check you spam folder |

Kind Regards

I rolled back to bios 3.02, not I'm trying to install Windows 10 or 11.
No storage drivers available. Installing from USB. Tried copying drivers from CD to the USB stick, but none of them work. ASRock Z690 PG Riptide, i7-12700K, Crucialk NX500 1TB SSD. Booting from USB with Windows 10 or 11 installer. Last attempt was to install Windows to USB HD, but Windows doesn't like that option. Am able to install Unraid and use Windows through a VM that way, but come on.That is a lot of work to get WIndows installed. Where can I get either a working BIOS 4.02+ or Windows Drivers for this board? |
