disabling csm causes stuck boot to bios

Hello,
Board and CPU are supported by Windows 11, but, there are some requirements, that have to be met, when doing an upgrade from Windows 10 to 11.
1. CSM has to be disabled
2. Windows 10 MUST be installed in GPT (UEFI) Mode
3. CPU fTPM must be enabled
These are all the settings required.
From what you write, it sounds like your Windows 10 is installed in MBR mode.
There are 2 ways to solve this, the difficult one, and the easy one
The difficult method, means you have to use a tool like mbr2gpt (from Microsoft) to convert the system into GPT mode.
This can work, but sometimes, you just cannot get it fixed, and it takes a lot of time, to fix it, if you get it working at all.
The easy method, means you have to make a backup of you important files, and do a clean installation of Windows 11 in GPT mode.
Here are the steps
1. when using bitlocker first remove the encryption
2. google for the media creation tool and downlaod the latest Windows 11 ISO file, and let the tool create a USB stick for you
3. Reset the BIOS to default settings with F9 and only change the CSM setting to disabled, and enable the CPU fTPM
4. connect only the disk, you want Windows installed on
5.Boot the system, and use F11 to get into the boot menu, You should see the USB stick as a UEFI device, select this device to boot from, this will see to it, that Windows 11 is installed in GPT mode.
Note, sometimes you have to run the boot procedure twice
6. select keyboard layout and language.
6, Select I don't have a license key, and agree to the terms and conditions
Now select the same version as you had for Windows 10, so when you had Win 10 home, select Win 11 home.
The activation for Windows 10, that is stored in the Microsoft cloud, will be used, to later activate Win 11, that is why it must be the same edition.
Use a custom installation, and wipe all partitions from your boot drive
And let Windows do the rest.
Now the diference between Home and Pro.
Windows 11 Home, can only be installed using a Microsoft (hotmail) account, this is a must.
Windows 11 pro can also be installed using a local account (my favorite)
After the installation, always first install the AMD chipset driver

Nevermind that, I'm not sure why one install ended up mbr and the other gpt when I did them the same way as far as I thought so I will see what I can do. This secure boot garbage is a joke and I bet it disappears after the year is up for upgrading for free.
