A newbie here so not sure if this is the right area.
Just bought an ASRock z590 Steel Legend Wifi 6 with Intel i5 11600k Am looking at installing Corsair ?ˇCMH64GX4M4D3600C18W Located at https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-4x16GB-PC4-28800-Desktop/dp/B095HN61QW?th=1 I can't find reference to this in the QVL list... Will this RAM work? Any advice appreciated |

The memory controller is integrated in the CPU, it is not on the baord, and optimal speed is 3200MHz
https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/212275/intel-core-i511600k-processor-12m-cache-up-to-4-90-ghz.html There is no overallperformance increase above that speed, only a synthetic benchmark program will show betetr results, but it will not reflect in betetr overall performance of the system, that is a hype. Corsair is a assembler, not a true memory manufacturer, they don't manufacture the chips or PCB's themselves. Personally I always have good results with patriot Viper DDR4 |
