I have an ASRock Z87E-ITX LGA 1150 motherboard running Windows 7.  I'm looking for information about the power supplied by the USB ports.  The reason being, I have a Vestax USB MIDI controller which only works with powered USB ports.  The controller works fine on a Mac laptop and on my Thinkpad, but only when it's plugged into the powered USB port.   When I plug the controller into an non-powered USB port, Windows gives an error that the device is not recognized.  I didn't find any information in the manual on how much power the USB ports on this manual provide.  I modified the USB port legacy settings in the BIOS and tried both options (enabled and disabled) and neither worked.  Also tried plugging the controller into every USB port (there are 8) and same result.
