When there are other RGB tools active this can happen.
Uninstall all RGB tools, reboot, and remove the folders these tools created, then reboot again, and install the ASRock RGB tool, please disconenct anything that is connected to the onboard RGB headers before you install the tool. After the tool is installed and first started, give it some time, in detecting the LEDS, and do the firmware update. This should fix it. You can also force a firmware update by ging to C:\Program Files (x86)\ASRock Utility\ASRRGBLED\Bin and execute writefw.bat |

Hey guys,
I have an ASRock z690 Taichi and everything was running smoothly for about a week and then suddenly, the disabled RGB on the motherboard began to flicker. About every minute or two, a random light will blink on and off, just one LED, not the whole block. I've tried a BIOS update (I'm in 9.03 now) -- I've tried uninstalling the Polychrome application from the computer and just using the BIOS to change the RGB to off. I'm out of ideas. I've done for a very clean, minimal RGB matte black water cooled build so this is ruining the whole aesthetic. Any thoughts for what might be wrong and how I can fix this? I'm very disappointed in this new and expensive motherboard so far. Thanks. |
