Hello.
I am currently using AMD Ryzen 3 3200G on B450M pro4. The plan is to swap this CPU out for AMD Ryzen 5 5600. What is the correct process to update BIOS to P5.30? Is it possible to flash P5.30 with the Ryzen 3 3200G or do i need another CPU to flash because of compatibility reasons?
Thanks in advance.

I also just recognized, that the 5 5600 is one of just two CPU that requires P5.30 according to the list. Would it be possible to flash on P5.00 with the 3 3200G and swap to the 5 5600 and use this to flash P5.30?

Update to 5.30 with the 3200g, make sure the system is working, then swap CPUs and
clear CMOS before powering on with the 5600. I don't see any bridge BIOS required
for your board so you should be able to just update directly to 5.30.

The warnings about not recommended are only to discourage unnecessary updating as
newer BIOS versions do not offer any benefit over older ones when using the CPU
generations listed, thus updating is pointless and risks a bad flash for no good
reason. You are upgrading your CPU so there is no problem.
