this is an update from win7 x64 to win 10 x64
before, it was sound blaster under win7

win 10 does not accept realtek driver and software,
only win10 adds the "own" driver, which does not display the realtek name, sound is low and the record option is missing

this is a link to screenshot about the error in installer:
https://ibb.co/h71Zdgc

i tested with two driver version, same results.

thanks5

This is a strange request, because Intel 500 Sereis, does not support Windows 7.
It cannot work, because Windows 7 does not have XHCI USB drivers integrated.
When you have a disk from another system, with Windows 7 on it, it will cause problems.
Best would be a clean instalaltion of Windows 10 or 11 (best to use the Pro version)followed by the Intel Inf (chipset) driver then the audio shoukld already work with the integrated Windows driver

Kind Regards

thanks for your reply
the old configuration/motherboard used the win7,I simply started the old configuration with this asrock motherboard and it was updated without error
I know that the usb of this motherboard does not work under win7, so I had to change to this sh*t win10, otherwise I would never have changed from win7.

yes, realtek works with the windows driver(no record possibility), but the realtek installer not found the soundcard

possible the problem is the old creative driver in the registration or i not know, later i remove all creative components, total new win10 install from the beginnings is not possible, too many important software is installed

THESE DRIVER INSTALLERS NOT WORKS FOR H510M-HDV R2.0

-The official REALTEK DRIVER installer,Realtek_Audio(v9075.1_UAD_WHQL_RTK) from the ASROCK download page

-The official REALTEK DRIVER installer,0009-Win7_Win8_Win81_Win10_R282 from the REALTEK DOWNLOAD PAGE

-Realtek_Audio(v6.0.9231.1)

THIS DRIVER WORKS:

aud_win10_64_6.0.8716.1

-BUT NO STEREO MIX (WHAT U HEAR) (ALL DEVICES UNHIDED)

-AND NO REALTEK NAME IN THE DEVICE LIST

QUESTIONS:

-ASROCK BANNED THE "STEREO MIX" (WHAT U HEAR) OR THIS IS A WINDOWS ISSUE?

-WHY DOES ASROCK MAKE ITS OWN DRIVERS INSTEAD OF THE LATEST 2.82 REALTEK?

-THE ASROCK COMPANY JOINED ANY MEDIA-FACTORY COPYRIGHT COOPERATIVES?

BECAUSE THEN I THROW THIS sh*t OUT THE WINDOW IMMEDIATELY TOGETHER WITH WIN10

You might not like this reply, but a completely fresh Windows 10 installation is what is needed here. That will probably fix those driver installation issues.

PROBLEM SOLVED:

-I installed intentionally the uncompatible Creative wdm driver, just to somehow have a different starting point than Windows built in audio before i update

-restart

-then in the device manager manually select from the HALF INSTALLED 0009-Win7_Win8_Win81_Win10_R282 driver directory in programfiles/realtek/audio/drivers/win64/HDXSST.inf(possible from the uncompressed Win7_Win8_Win81_Win10_R282 directory also works)

-!AND NOW WORKS! the install procedure go onward

-Select Realtek high definition audio device from the list

-Install completed,STEREO MIX is appeared
