Hi.
I have a z390 phantom 4 gaming board, I accidently caught the power lead for a external hd on the back of the pc. It now won't turn on, I have put another power supply in and no difference, there is power to the board. Are there any fuses on the boards that would blow? Would it have damaged the cpu and dddr memory. Nothing looks to have blown or looks scorched. Thank you Steve |

Disconnect everything from the system (display, keyboard etc) as well as the power
cord. Once you have disconnected power from the PC, press and hold the power button for 3 - 5 seconds. Pull out the CMOS battery and let it sit like that for an hour or so. Sometimes a power safety feature can get stuck and prevent the system from powering up, this is the only way I know that clears it (usually). If that does not work try contacting ASRock Tech Support here: https://event.asrock.com/tsd.asp |
