Hi. I have the X570 taichi and TB3 AIC R2.0 with 9 drives and an SDXC.
The SSD performance is very unpredictable, often dropping to <50MB/s for drives capable of at least 600MB/s. Win10 1TB (SSD) Storage 12TB (HDD**) and another 12TB (HDD) synchronized for backup Video Editing (SDD**) 2TB and another 2TB (HDD) synchronized for backup Video Editing (SDD) 4TB M.2 NVMe and another 4TB (HDD) synchronized for backup Video Storage (SSD*) 4TB Video loading docking station (SSD) 500GB-1TB Video/audio loading (SDXC cards) * = connected to 3.2 Gen 2 USB ** = connected to TB 3 AIC R2.0 Are there bandwidth limitation based on this arrangement? |

Solved: Don't copy from a 3.2 Gen 1 to a 3.2 Gen 2 port. That was my problem. You can copy between teh (2) 3.2 G2 ports or to/from Thunderbolt 3 and 3.2 G2.
