For wake on LAN, You only need to Enable under ACPI, PCIE Devices Power On, then save with f10, and after one restart, it's active, until you switch of the PSU, completely, then You require a start, and agfter that a reboot, to activate it.
This is the only option to enable WOL. Your PC, staring at certain times, doesn't sound like WOL, there is something else at work here, maybe it uses these moments to send data. Just try what happens, when You disconnect the LAN cable, when it still hapens, it's something active on your PC, when it is only when the LAN cable is connected, there is a serious risk of someone hacking Your system |

Hi everyone, my problem is that my PC is waking up by LAN randomly at night. I disabled "allow this to wake my pc" on device manager for every lan option i found there, in CMD(i have wake_armed only my keyboard and some USB ports). And also I disabled this in BIOS. But problem is every time i restart my pc this option in BIOS is enabled again.
Also options for managing lan wake are available after you enable pcie wake, it's just greyed out if you don't enable PCIE wake. Please help me disable lan wake. Thanks |
