hello
i m totally lost, on the official website for this motherboard only old SSD seems to be accepted. (As Samsung 950 960 serie) I was interested on the WB black SN850 but its not possible. Maybe the Samsung 970 evo plus or WD black SN750...same not on the official list of ASROCK So if those product are not allowed can you give me compatible SSD M2 (NVME) with target price to 50-100 euros ? and with performance as the 970 evo thanks a lot |

Those QVL lists have never been worth anything to me in my entire life.
I don't even know why people look at them. Since your board is limited to PCIe Gen3, and I don't think most people would benefit from anything faster anyway, my personal recommendation is SK Hynix Gold P31, if it's available in your region. Otherwise, Crucial, Kingston, WD, all probably just fine. Lots of Phison based options out there. I was a Samsung SSD person, but stopped buying them after they ruined their "PRO" moniker with 8-level NAND cells. No reason to pay more for the same thing. Do try to avoid DRAM-less SSDs, though, especially since it sounds like it'll be your main drive. |

Hi I wouldn't worry if you don't see the 970 EVO Plus on QVL, I personally am using them on my X399 Taichi and they are not officially supported. Here in Spain 1TB costs a little more than ??10 new but depending of the air flow of your PC case and the room ambient temperature also I would recommend you buy a M.2 heatsink for the 970 EVO Plus, good personal experience with be quiet! MC1 Pro. I canĀ“t share any personal experience with WD NVMe but ADATA worth it too. Good luck |
