hi all. i have the AM4 B550 Steel Legend mobo.
i have a capture card running to my USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 rear port, but it keeps downgrading to USB2 on every reboot and if the card idles and is not in use. If I replug my device it will eventually recognize as USB3 and be fine, until it idles out again after a streaming session is done. is there a way to prevent this from happening and ensure that my USB3 ports are always acting as USB3? thanks! |

No there is no way to prevent this, it often has to do with,m either the information that this card, supplies to UEFI, or the convertor chip, that converts, USB into audio hardware.
Also important is the USB cable. Some cables handle 5Gb/S, some 10Gb/S, and this makes a huge difference. Sometimes a powered USB HUB is a solution |

Kind Regards
