X570 00 Post Code, working CPU/PSU

   I have an ASRock X570 Gaming Phantom X motherboard, 3800X, 2x16GB and an 850 watt PSU.

Yesterday I was on a data-recovery mission where I had to swap motherboards just to be as safe as possible and I was able to clone my surviving 1TB SSD RAID to a non-RAID drive which was extremely important. I had swapped out the parts I needed to use a different motherboard (A520) and so I know that the CPU, PSU and RAM are all good.

I got home and turned on the power to get a 00 post code...WTH!? I went to bed. This morning I quintuple-checked all of the cables to be as certain as possible and after flipping through about maybe ~dozen post codes is just sits at 00. So I swapped all of the parts back to the A520 motherboard and everything works fine there.

I'm willing to make one more swap back to my X570 to see if I just somehow absolutely missed something. I've read on other threads to check the three auxiliary power connectors near the CPU as that might lead to the CPU not being detected. I'm not sure what else to check since the A520 board works just fine.

Can a damaged motherboard still boot enough to get to a 00 post code or would it just not turn on outright? I do zero overclocking. Oh, and unlike 90% of the threads I come across if I figure it out I'll come back and post the frigin answer since that would be helpful to someone coming across this thread in the future.

	So the sixth time (...maybe?) was the charm. I took a few things apart and used compressed air to remove the fascist dust from my system. Obviously the last time I put it together it got past the 00 post code. I try to not be "that guy" though I honestly do not know what got stuck. I did hear the CPU auxiliary power cables snap in quite nicely this time. It was a pain to deal with them and some other cables due to the tight spaces that make plugging or unplugging them excessively difficult. I'm going to settle on the resetting all of the major plugs as well as giving the system a few hours after the compressed air to be the combination of what I did that likely resulted in the system eventually working again. It's frustrating especially for others who don't have a second compatible motherboard to test if the CPU and other components are still working or not. That being said some places allow you to return things and you're only out on the shipping. Not something I would generally recommend though I've been a bit isolated and all my tech friends aren't close by. Good luck to anyone else in a similar situation.
