2nd 4 pin 12 volt board socket on asrock B550 phantom gaming 4 , my power supply doesnt have this 4 pin 12volt socket , ive plugged the 6+2 behind cpu , do i need a separate 4 pin 12 volt plug for socket next to the 6+2 12 volt ?? thankyou terry ...

having checked in google it implies i only need the 6+2 or 8 pin 12 volt plug ,dont need a 4 pin 12 volt supply as well if correct please let me know thankyou terry

You need a 4+4 pin not a 6+2. 6+2 is PCIe power for GPUs. You only need either
the 8pin or the 4 pin (you don't need both) for the system to work. |

Thnks ,i meant 4+4 sorry was wrong 6+2 on asrock challenger D graphic card and 4+4 pluged into 8 pin socket by cpu all seems fine , thankyou terry
