Hi,
I was using this morning your tool for upgrading BIOS: https://www.asrock.com/support/BIOSIG.it.asp?cat=Windows7 But somethings did wrong, and now when I open the PC, I just see a black screen. Probably a bad flash upgrade. Question: is it possible to restore the bios in some way with this model? Tried this: https://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=630&title=how-to-clear-cmos-via-battery-removal , but nothing happened. Any some fancy option I can apply? Some recovery/bios mode? Thanks for any help |

Contact ASRock Tech Support:
http://event.asrock.com/tsd.asp You can ask them to send you a new BIOS chip preflashed with the BIOS version you want. I don't remember the cost, it's not expensive. I think they still sell them. If that doesn't work out you will need to find someone with a ROM flasher device and manually flash the ROM chip with the correct BIOS. Some service centers can do this for you or you can buy a ROM flasher and do it yourself. There are a ton of guides on youtube showing how to do it and what you need. |
