Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help my issue, my pc suddenly doesn't turn on and whenever I try to turn it on it beeps 5 times quickly and then shows a black screen with the fans speeding up then slowing down. Can anyone help me to figure out the issue?

It just turned onto the locks creep but then turned off again and it went back to what I previously mentioned about it.

Pretty sure it's processor issue. I'm just not sure if it's the CPU or GPU or what I can do without wasting all my money on buying stuff I might not need too.

5 quick beeps typically means no display detected. Double check your monitor cable
and try it in another display output. The fans spinning up then slowing down means
the system is POSTing and likely booting but there is no output to the monitor.
It's quite possible if you leave it on it will show a display once the OS boots.
If this is the case then you have the display cable connected to a port other than
the one the system expects as the default.

Let us know how it goes.

Thank you for your reply, I have checked the display cable and have used another one in another slot but it didn't change anything. I left it on for a few minutes and it hasn't shown any signs of progress. Do you think if I buy a CMOS battery then it might change anything? Thanks for your help.

What are your system specs? It's difficult to help diagnose an issue when we have
no idea what components you are using. CPU, GPU, Display type (HDMI, Display Port etc), RAM, Motherboard, PSU etc.

Changing the CMOS battery won't hurt anything, they are cheap and easy to replace
so it's worth a try. A flat battery can cause all kinds of weird issues.

Sorry for the late response, changing the battery did nothing at all to it. I am using a hdmi display port, I have the geforce 2090 cpu and the ASRock H310CM dvs motherboard. 2 8gb ram sticks. I'm not sure about the cpu because the fan is covering the name of it. Is there anything else that might be causing the issue?

Could be the PSU, I see a rather high end GPU paired with a very low spec motherboard
I would not be surprised if the PSU is similarly low end.
