Hi guys. I will really appreciate if you can help me out with this one.

I have the "Z97 OC Formula" board with i5 CPU. I am running perfectly fine 2 x GTX 980 TIs on PCI-1 and PCI-2 slots. But when I plug in a third card ( GTX 970 ) on PCI-4 there is a strange message right after computer start that I need to install PSU's 4-pin connectors. I am using "FSP AURUM PRO 1200W AU-1200PRO" and I have connected 2 x 8 pin power connectors to the board ( one is 2x4 ) and the main 24 pin as well.

One more thing. I am not trying to do SLI mode, I just want those cards operational.

Thank you!

There is a 4 pin molex connector at the top left of your board (looking at it with the IO panel at the top). That is designed to provide additional power to the PCIe slots when you have 3 or more GPUs installed.

There are two "Hi-Density Power Connectors" on the top left side. And I have connected them both. The only thing I can think of is may be somehow they do not work because of the PSU or the board.

With the board in that orientation the molex connector I am referring to is at the bottom left. I put a box around it for you.

Ah! It is behind the PSU, that's why I haven't seen it. Brilliant, thank you for your help.
