asrock doesnt load drivers with fastboot, OS loads drivers and from OS you can enter uefi setup
you can use ps/2 keyboard with fastboot to have uefi setup available before booting OS |

Hi there,
I am running Ubuntu Linux on a Samsung 960 EVO 500GB NVMe SSD. My motherboard is a fatal1ty x470 Gaming K4. When checking boot options, I only see "normal" and "ultra fast", but not "fast boot". I don't want to enable "ultra fast" boot mode since I want to be able to access BIOS whenever I need to, however "normal" boot mode seems quite slow to me (takes around 10 seconds whereas OS boot only takes ~2secs). Is there a way to enable "fast boot" without having to use "ultra fast boot"? |
