Hello,

I recently acquired a SPC621D8 motherboard but I am unable to enable SGX in BIOS.

The system configuration is:

SPC621D8
Xeon Gold 6330 and Xeon Gold 6338
128 RAM

OS ubuntu server 22.04

When I go in BIOS to CPU settings, I enable the SGX then save and exit but as the system reboots, when I check BIOS again the SGX is disabled.

After a few tries I also changed the setting above the SGX to enabled, this is called Total Memory Encryption (TME) and once I save and exit both the TME and SGX stay enabled but once I boot into OS I get a message saying that SGX was disabled by BIOS and TME cannot be applied.

Upon restart and back to BIOS both settings are enabled again. Once TME is disabled, also SGX gets disabled on the next system restart.

This is the only platform where I am facing this error/bug. My assumption is that there is something wrong at BIOS level.

Can anyone help ?

Thanks
