ASRock B450 Gaming-ITX/ac - connot enter safe mode

I'm trying to enter safe mode to run DDU to install new graphics. When I get to the prompt for safe mode, I cannot enter. None of my keyboards will work at this point. Not my fancy corsair, my Logi K400 wireless with trackpad, nor my check wired amazon basics.

Nothing I do will allow me to hit enter to select safe mode to get into safe mode on my computer.

I've tried USB 2.0 ports, 3.0, 3.1. Nothing works. I've looked all through the BIOS for Legacy USB option, yet I can't find one.

This is weird right?

I switched from CSM to UEFI BIOS a while back to think I could speed up my boot.

I'm building a new computer and I wasn't wanting to make this one non functional just yet. (taking this video card)
