Hi was wondering if I could get some help I have an Fatal1ty x79 MB and over the week I wanted to upgrade the HDD so I remove my old one and put in the new one and since I have done that I'm getting no out put which is strange,

however on the MB according to the MB manual it has a thing called PSC (Post System Checker). the manual saying that if the lights are red then you have problem with a device such as CPU, Memory, VGA and storage, now on my MB it is saying I have an issue with the VGA, which is really bizarre. now I tried  removing the RAM and graphics card even tried a different graphics cards, and nothing I'm still getting no output, I've brought it to work and tried different graphics cards different slots etc and I'm still getting no out put, not even getting beeps or anything.

I'm a bit stumped really any help would be appreciated

thanksCry

There are two ASRock Fatality X79 boards, the Fatality X79 Professional, and the Fatality X79 Champion.

After some research, it seems you have the Fatality X79 Champion, since it is the only Fatality X79 model that has the PSC (POST Status Checker). Is that correct?

While the PSC is useful for debugging problems, your board also has the Dr Debug POST code display, in the lower right corner of the board, below the SATA ports.

If POST failed, you should be seeing a code number in the Dr Debug display. That code should be a much better clue regarding what the problem is.

So what code are you getting in the Dr Debug display?

You said the problem started after changing an HDD. Which SATA port is this HDD connected to, one of the Intel SATA ports, or one of the Marvell SATA ports? What model and type of HDD is the new drive?

Have you tried clearing the UEFI/BIOS since you began having this problem?
