Hey there,
we run a bunch of ASRock B450M Pro4 and ASRock B450M Pro4 R2.0 with different Ryzen CPUs. Are there BIOS updates addressing the vulnerabilties described here? https://www.amd.com/en/resources/product-security/bulletin/amd-sb-7009.html For both mainboards there is a BIOS firmware version 10.08 [Beta] from 2024/1/31. Do they already contain fixes? Thanks a lot for your support and your great products Stephan |

Both boards latest beta BIOS are at AGESA 1.2.0.B.
If you have regular CPUs (rather than APUs), then it's all covered. But if you have APU, CVE-2023-20579 fix isn't available yet. They're saying it will be available with AGESA 1.2.0.C. |

thanks for your quick reply!
We run APUs, mostly 2200G, 3200G and 5600G. So we'll wait for 1.2.0.C. Is this the right place to watch? https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B450M%20Pro4/index.asp#BIOS https://asrock.com/MB/AMD/B450M%20Pro4%20R2.0/index.asp#BIOS |

Yes, you can watch for newer BIOS released on the model specific pages.
You can also watch the non-model-specific pages: https://asrock.com/support/index.asp?cat=BIOS https://asrock.com/support/index.asp?cat=bBIOS |

Hey again,
still no fixed BIOS firmware versions. Does anybody know whether there is work in progress? And more generally: Where can I see whether our mainboards are still supported at all? Thanks and greets! |

Be patient. These security fixes take months to be released across their entire line. For example, the latest BIOS for B450 PRO4 R2.0 was released 2024-01-31. They didn't abandon any of the 400-series boards as far as I know.
