So I?™m thinking of going down the X99 route so I thought I?™d use the i7 5820k. So I could have extra PCI-E bandwidth. My question is with the selected CPU, do you think I might bottleneck the PCI-E bandwidth with the below add-on expansion cards? I will also be adding 3 additional HDD?™s from my current build I have being 3TB, 1TB and 150GB HDD?™s. If you think the this i7 5820k is not enough would you suggest the i7 5930k instead?

As I will be using a soundcard for a Audio Technica 700X one in the list is the closed version the I want to get is the open ear cans but are not available currently on PCPartsPicker. For fast storage I would like to purchase a NV.ME SSD to quickly render high res videos & pictures well as using my GPU being a GTX 1080 or 1080ti if they release it.

I did read up on the Asrock Extreme 6/AC manual, that if I were to use the M.2 SSD pci-e slot 5 would be disabled. Reason I choose this mobo was that TechYESCity found it was the most stable mobo that he tried after the MSI SLi board had failed to POST he had to RMA it. It was one of the first X99 boards I was thinking of purchasing too. Then Brian tried the Gigabyte X99 board (can?™t remember exact board it was) but it he found the others were not stable when overclocking and their onboard sound for using the mic was muffled.

If there?™s a better X99 mobo recommendation for m.2 slots that won?™t disable pci-e slots please let me I would also welcome that too.
