It seems like you've tried various troubleshooting steps already. Have you reached out to the manufacturer's https://onlinevatcalculate.com/ support for further assistance? They might have specific recommendations to resolve this issue.

Couple other notes:
- I meant UEFI not "UFEI", been a long day of troubleshooting and my brain is fried. Excuse any other grammatical errors. - I originally thought the issue was with my wireless keyboard, but a cheap wired USB keyboard also didn't work. Also, does flashback restore everything back to defaults or do certain settings persist? I am wondering if maybe I had a setting enabled that persisted through all the firmware changes that breaks something with FW 2.70+ Hardware for reference: - AMD Ryzen 9 3900X - 64 GB ECC RAM - 4x KSM26ED8/16ME - 2x RES2SV240 24-Port 6Gbps SATA SAS Raid Expander - LSI SAS9207-8e 8-Port External HBA - LSI SAS9207-8i 8-Port Internal HBA - Several various hard drives for Unraid |

I was trying to upgrade my X570 Creator to the latest 5.60 firmware which has the LogoFAIL security update. I've been on version 2.40 for several years without any issues.
The upgrade went fine, but afterwards I could not access the UFEI interface to change any settings. The LED on the motherboard just hung for awhile with code A9 then eventually switched to 0C. If I did not attempt to hit F2, F11, or DEL then Windows would boot just fine from my NVME drive. Here is everything I tried: - Made sure Windows did not have Fast Boot enabled - Booting into UEFI after doing a Shift+Reboot from Windows - Unplugging the NVME with Windows on it - Unplugging all USB devices except keyboard - Unplugging my gaming graphics card, leaving only my basic GT710 - Clearing CMOS with the button - Resetting CMOS by removing the battery - Using Flashback to reinstall 5.60 - Using Flashback to install 5.50 - Using Flashback to install 3.00 - Using Flashback to install 2.70 Nothing worked. No matter what I could not enter the UFEI interface. With my NVME removed, if I did not attempt to enter the UFEI interface then the boot process would hang with code A9. If I did attempt to try to get in, then it would eventually hang with code 0C. I could not have any info about what 0C means. I finally rolled back to 2.40 which did work properly. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? I even tried getting everything up and running with 2.40 then incrementally updating to 2.70 and even that failed. Is there just a bug with the firmware past 2.40 for my particular hardware? I have no idea what else it could be and im not aware of any way to see any other debug info to diagnose what could be happening. |
