Hi.
I am having an issue with ASrock N3700M motherboard (BIOS 1.30). The motherboard works generally well, but when i turn it off using chasis power button in UEFI screen or before booting up, it is imposible to turn on motherboard again without pluging out power cord from PSU or switching PSU off for a few seconds first. When i turn off motherboard using a shutdown function in any operating system, i can turn on motherboard normally (without cutting of power first) with 100% rate. Looks like turning off motherboard differently than using OS clean shutdown procedure, "blocks" something in powering functions. I tried with 4 different PSU units - no difference at all. This is pretty annoying i must say. Thank You for any help. Best regards.

Let me get this right. You're powering it off while looking at the BIOSes GUI, and or while it's performing the BOOT process??? If so, count yourself lucky you can now even boot it up. Why is it you feel the need to do either of those two operations? |
