Hi. I just got my new mobo X99 Professional Gaming i7. I will update the BIOS to 1.40 if it's not already.
A friend of mine is sending me 32gb of memory and I wanted to know if I will have any compatibility issues and if the XMP will work without any problem.

The memory in not listed in the memory QVL as many more.
Memory is Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz C12 Memory Kit - Black (CMK32GX4M4A2400C12)

I will have 2 of them.
Do I need other type?
Can anyone help?

Thanks

I'm also going to use 2 NVME Samsung PM961 256GB in RAID...will I encounter any problem, with compatibility and RAID?

Concerning memory compatibility the first place I'd start is by employing the Corsair Memory Finder:

Your RAIDed M.2 drives shouldn't present a problem nor issue.

Thanks for the reply.

I checked and this memory is not listed there.
Does this mean I will damage the board if I try them?
Does this mean that they will not work?

or should I buy new ones? Can you make a suggestion?

What do you think about speed and latency?
My CPU is i7 6850k.

Thanks again

PS I just found them. It is tricky because there was no timing on this model, but when you clicked SELECT it takes you to their page...SO all of them are supported?

Here is a picture of the Corsair Site with my memory...
Look at the missing timings and the bar with the link when the mouse is over SELECT.
