Hello everybody,
I recently build a pc for my dad with the following components: Mainboard: Asrock A68M-ITX APU: A10-7860K RAM: 2x4Gb DDR3 2400 Ares (http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-2400c11d-8gab) I now have some problems with the RAM. The board and the RAM have XMP and so I activated it and switched to 2400 mode. Win10 memory diagnostics was fine but prime95 and AMD overdrive showed errors. Today I switched to DDR2133 mode and it seems to run fine (DDR2133 is fine with me). But no matter what XMP mode I activate, the RAM is always in single channel mode (says the bios). Is this because my RAM is not on the compatible memory list? The list seems pretty outdated and no memory on that list is available. Is there a setting I could try to activate dual channel mode? Or do I have to find compatible RAM and if so how do I do it? The BIOS version is 1.0 and that is the latest. Greetings Epi |
