I purchased a new Z170 OC Formula motherboard in October, and 2 days later contacted asrock via the website support form to let them know the motherboard packaging was missing the required M.@ stand-off and screw.  The box came with 3 plastic baggies of other tiny screws of which only one was needed, and certainly none will work as an M.2 standoff.

Over a month later, I have received no response from asrock support to either of my two messages...

How hard is it to respond and ship me a screw that someone forgot to include in the package?  Seriously?

Did you contact the place of purchase?

Too, I'd like to know what their response was to you missing the M.2 standoff and screw.

Odd. The standof(s) come from the factory pre-installed.

The mounting screw(s) come in the ziplocak bag(s).

2 of the M.2 standoffs are built-in, but the middle one only has holes to screw a standoff into (looks like standoffs mounted on the reverse side of the board, basically).  Asrock support got back to me eventually and say they are mailing me one.

My board looks just like in this post:
http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=1271&title=z170-oc-formula-m2-mounting-questions

I unscrewed the #3 standoff and put it in #2, and am waiting for the standoff in the mail so I can mount my 3rd 950 Pro.

I'm guessing since someone else had the exact same problem, there were just a batch of boards that went out without the proper parts in the package.  Mine came from the same place as the other poster (newegg).

Good. They took care of that missing standoff for you.
