990FX Extreme 9 MB - Win 7 Ultimate 64bit, new build.
Latest Etron driver from ASRock site. Front USB 3.0 header does not recognize all USB drives when plugged in. Header is plugged into connection closest to edge of MB on right side below power connector. Example - I am trying to use a 64gb ADATA USB 3.0 S102 model thumb drive. Front USB 3.0 doesn't recognize the drive is plugged in. The drive works in top USB 2.0 case ports and all rear MB ports. The drive is recognized correctly in other PCs. I don't see any errors in device manager. Additional minor issue - when unplugging header cable from MB, the plastic socket connection piece attached to MB came off MB with the cable - no pins bent - re-installed but still same issue. Thanx in advance for any info. Edited by r9ball - 25 Dec 2016 at 12:36am |

It may be considered removed/disconnected improperly.
Device Manager > View - Show Hidden Devices > Universal Serial Bus controllers > look for instances of USB Mass Storage Device |
